Code of Ethics and Conduct
Joaquim José Heitor, S.A. has a Code of Ethics and Conduct, which enshrines a set of principles, rules, and values regarding ethics and professional behavior that must be adopted by all company employees, both internally and externally, fostering an environment of integrity, efficiency, transparency, and rigor.
The Code is intended for all Administrators, employees, and Other Company Representatives, and it is also incumbent upon all these employees not only to know and internalize, institutionally implement, and externally defend the Code, but also to promote the application of its rules by third parties within the scope and execution of the relationships they maintain with any company entities.
Corruption and Related Offenses Risk Prevention Plan
Joaquim José Heitor, S.A. has implemented a Corruption Risk Prevention Plan (CRPP). This plan was developed considering the company's realities and aims to identify and classify risks and situations that may expose the company to acts of corruption and related offenses, as well as to establish and implement a set of measures and procedures based on the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Policy, the Social Responsibility Policy, and the Code of Ethics and Conduct. This is intended to more effectively and demonstrably ensure compliance with the law and internal regulations, reducing the likelihood of occurrence and the impact of identified risks and situations, thereby contributing to a climate of integrity and ethical culture in the development of Joaquim José Heitor, S.A.'s activities.
Thus, this Plan applies to the company and its employees, as well as other individuals who, regardless of their legal-functional relationship, provide work or services to it, and constitutes a fundamental management tool that strengthens and consolidates procedures and mechanisms for the prevention and detection of corruption and related offenses.
Annually, the Prevention and Risk Plan is evaluated regarding the degree of implementation of preventive and corrective measures, along with the main activities developed under the General Anti-Corruption Regime.

Joaquim José Heitor, S.A.'s Plan will be reviewed every three years, or whenever its revision is justified due to a possible change in its attributions or organizational structure.
Relationship with partners, suppliers, and subcontractors
Joaquim José Heitor, S.A. intends to convey good environmental and social responsibility practices and principles that should be adopted by its partners, and is available to collaborate in the exchange of experience and information to contribute to their fulfillment. Joaquim José Heitor, S.A. will take into account the level of adoption of these principles when selecting suppliers.
- Do not resort to child labor;
- Do not discriminate against its workers (by sex, race, religion, among others);
- Pay wages that meet legal standards or industry standards;
- Do not force employees to perform forced labor;
- Provide adequate health and safety conditions;
- Treat all workers with dignity and respect;
- Allow workers freedom of association (e.g., unions);
- Comply with legislation regarding working hours and vacation rights;
- Regarding materials/components/chemical products not supplied by JJ Heitor and that will be used in our products, ensure that they comply with the REACH regulation;
- Strictly comply with any type of restriction/requirement indicated by Joaquim José Heitor, S.A;
- Do not engage in practices that severely compromise the environment. Example: do not dump chemical products, liquid waste, or equivalents into soil, watercourses, and/or stormwater, do not abandon waste (paying particular attention to hazardous waste);
- Have conditions that prevent the occurrence of fires or other emergency situations, and, if they occur, have means for response and containment, to minimize their impact;
- Generally comply with applicable environmental legislation.
- Allow JJ Heitor employees access to the facilities for: production support or evaluation of the company's capacity, product conformity, working conditions, and environmental practices;
Treat all written or verbal information regarding the product to be manufactured as confidential, and it should not be disclosed to third parties without prior authorization.
