DESIGNED AND PRODUCED IN PORTUGAL

Almost seven decades ago, the story of JJ Heitor began with a clear ambition: to create footwear capable of expressing Portuguese know-how at the highest level.

In 1955, Joaquim José Heitor left for Venezuela with a clear goal: to return to Portugal and establish his own shoe factory. He wanted to show the world the quality and precision of Portuguese artisans.

That goal came to fruition in 1963 with the creation of Joaquim José Heitor. From the beginning, the company dedicated itself to producing high-quality footwear, based on a combination of tradition, technical knowledge, and attention to detail that continues to guide the brand to this day.

Currently, now in the third generation of the Heitor family, we maintain our commitment to producing durable shoes in Portugal, evolving with time without losing our roots.

OUR BRAND

With a wide client portfolio, Joaquim José Heitor exports a large part of its production, participating in the main international footwear industry events and collaborating with leading brands in various markets.

In 2013, we took a new step in our history with the launch of JJ Heitor Shoes, our own brand created with the aim of sharing the identity and know-how of Portuguese footwear with the world.

More than just shoes, we create pieces with character. Handmade models, designed to last, where tradition, comfort, and timelessness naturally come together.

JJ Heitor Shoes is more than just a brand. It is the continuation of a family legacy built over generations, with rigor, dedication, and deep respect for production in Portugal.

Shoes made in Portugal, designed to withstand the test of time, and transcend it with elegance.

WHAT SETS US APART

Each pair of JJ Heitor Shoes is born from a careful selection of raw materials, in-house manufacturing, rigorous quality control, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity and transparency throughout the entire process.

We tell stories through design, stitching, and the way each shoe accompanies the steps of those who wear it.

For some, it is a symbol of elegance; for others, an extension of their identity.

KNOWLEDGE PASSED DOWN THROUGH GENERATIONS

A rigorous selection of raw materials initiates the production process. Hides, soles, and linings from the best national and international sources are part of a procedure that defines a unique way of operating in the market.

Integrated technology, at all stages of the process, enables significant gains in productivity and quality. A strong component of manual labor, with attention to all details in the footwear manufacturing process, is also a decisive factor in the added value of the final product.

The integration of design into the service proposal has enhanced the offering, serving as a high-quality differentiating element.
